COMM Students Recognized at ARHU Graduate Awards Reception

COMM students won FOUR awards at the ARHU Graduate Awards Reception
On May 13, ARHU held their Graduate Awards Reception. The following COMM students were recognized:
- Tatenda Mashanda and Felicity Sena Dogbatse for the Graduate School's Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Awards, which recognize "the outstanding contributions that GAs provide to students, faculty, departments, administrative units, and the University as a whole."

- Kalin Schultz for ARHU's James F. Harris Arts and Humanities Visionary Scholarship, which "honors the humanities and arts in action...and a well-rounded approach to service and community engagement in addition to their scholarship." Among all of the outstanding applications received, only three were selected to receive this award!
Kalin and her advisor, Dr. Carly Woods
- PhD alum Alisa Hardy (now Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois), for honorable mention for the Charles A. Caramello Distinguished Dissertation Award, which "recognizes original work that makes an unusually significant contribution to the discipline."
