You may discuss specific program needs and special giving opportunities with the chair of the Department of Communication. You may send a gift check made out to "University of Maryland, College Park Foundation" with a memo specifying “Department of Communication.”

You may also make a gift online through the University Foundation. To ensure that your gift is designated to the Department of Communication, select "College of Arts and Humanities" as an "Area of Interest" at the third step of the process, entitled "Make a Gift." In the "Search for a fund" box, enter "Communications Department."  

If you are a university faculty or staff member, you may use payroll deduction as the method of payment, and you may indicate your preferred donation amount and the period during which the deductions should begin and end. Please contact the foundation if you are interested in this option.
