Tameka (she/her) is studying health communication in the PhD program at UMD. She earned a Master of Science in Communication Management from Towson University. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Drexel University and a Master of Art in Creative Writing from The Johns Hopkins University. She enjoys researching communication topics, ranging from the Earth’s health (climate change) to human wellness.
