Terps participate in annual conference in San Francisco

Faculty members and graduate students from the Department of Communication presented research, participated in meetings, and received awards at the annual meeting of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication in San Francisco, August 2015. Some highlights include:

Ph.D. student Julio Bermejo will receive the Inez Kaiser Graduate Student of Color Award.

Ph.D. student Julia Daisy Fraustino will receive the Mass Communication & Society Division's Most Promising Professor Award.

Ph.D. students Stephanie Madden and Julia Daisy Fraustino will appear on the Top Teaching Paper Panel for the Public Relations Division.

Ph.D. student Amanda Kennedy will receive the Top Paper Award from the Commission on the Status of Women.

Professor & Chair Elizabeth Toth will complete her successful presidential year of AEJMC.
