Looking for a Summer 2026 COMM course that fulfills a major requirement? Take COMM 301: Rhetorical Theories with Dr. Andrew Boge! This course explores the power of rhetoric (communication aimed at convincing people to accept or advocate for certain ideas) to shape the world. You will learn to use rhetorical theories and concepts to engage contemporary issues, such as power and resistance, the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence, environmental and climate crises, political polarization, and the spread of misinformation. Check out COMM 363: Digital Media Development: Blogs, Magazines, and Their Audiences with Dr. Ray Bailey! In this course, we explore how content, storytelling, design, and audience engagement create online virtual communities. You'll also learn Adobe InDesign, the professional software used by publishers and designers, as you design and produce your own 16-page digital magazine.
