Department of Communication Associate Professor, Dr. Sahar Khamis was presented with two awards in July: the Mellon/Maryland Professional Development Award and the MAYS Feminist Scholarship Award from the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at The Association of Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC).
