This year’s theme was Black Feminist Worldmaking
Congratulations to Dr. Catherine Knight Steele, she was in conversation with Dr. Meredith Clark as the keynote for the 3rd annual bell hooks symposium on Black Feminist Worldmaking at Northeastern University!
The symposium honors the life and legacy of the trailblazing Black feminist scholar bell hooks (1952-2021). A prolific author, committed teacher, brilliant intellectual, unequivocal truth-teller, and bold visionary, bell hooks (née Gloria Jean Watkins) is a feminist icon who left an indelible mark on multiple generations of people including activists, artists, students, and scholars.
