COMM Majors Named as 2021 Academic All-Big Ten Honorees

Ten COMM majors earn all-conference honors for academic performance.

The Big Ten Conference has recognized 1,823 student athletes, including 101 student athletes from the University of Maryland, as fall sports Academic All-Big Ten Team members. Ten of those UMD academic all-stars are majoring in Communication. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
