Explore ARHU on Maryland Day 2026!
Explore what the College of Arts and Humanities (ARHU) has to offer as the university celebrates Maryland Day at its annual spring open house on Saturday, April 25, 2026. ARHU will be represented across campus with dozens of events in the arts and humanities. Check out our exciting schedule of activities by neighborhood below. Unless otherwise listed, all events run from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Maryland Day is rain or shine and does not require registration. Admission and parking are free. Everyone is welcome including prospective and admitted students, families and the general public.
For more information on what's happening campuswide, visit Maryland Day 2026. This year, you can take part in activities that explore democracy, civic engagement, history and more in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Once Maryland Day concludes, head to The Clarice at 5 p.m. for “American Anthems,” a free concert presented by Arts for All and ARHU in reflection of the nation’s 250th anniversary. This concert will also have a livestream option available.
