Viktoriia Savchuk

Viktoriia is a Ph.D. student and instructor at the University of Maryland. She is conducting research on the strategic communication of Ukraine's government and resistance movement in response to Russia's war in Ukraine while also teaching a class on public speaking. Prior to her doctoral program, Viktoriia pursued a master's degree at Ohio University as a Fulbright grantee. Additionally, she has over seven years of experience working as a media and communication specialist for non-profit organizations and the Ukrainian government. During this time, she actively participated in campaigns advocating for anti-corruption and healthcare reforms in Ukraine. Furthermore, Viktoriia has served as a consultant for international organizations such as Internews and UNICEF.
