Umisha KC is a current Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication, more specifically the Communication Sciences and Social Cognition track. Her research interests primarily lie on the intersection of media and racial identity. Prior to attending the University of Maryland, she attended Mississippi University for Women where she received her B.S. in Communication with minors in General Business and Marketing. Umisha currently teaches COMM 107. She is from Lalitpur, Nepal.
