She holds an M.A. in Communication from the University of Dayton, where she served as a graduate teaching assistant, teaching Principles of Oral Communication. Her thesis focused on how users' interactions with AI-powered chatbots affect their relationships with organizations.

Her research interests focus on the impact of AI on public relations, particularly in areas such as corporate social responsibility (CSR), decision-making, organization-public relationships, and corporate reputation. Specifically, she is interested in the evolving role of AI in shaping PR and stakeholder engagement, as well as the interaction between organizations and AI development in influencing PR by balancing algorithms and authenticity. In addition, she is interested in how organizations can prevent AI-driven errors, such as biased algorithms and unethical data practices, that could impair brand reputation and consumer trust.
