T-Kea Blackman, MPS, CPRS, RPS is a nationally recognized, multi-award-winning peer recovery specialist, social entrepreneur, speaker, and author. She is the founder of the Mental Health Empowerment Agency, a consulting firm dedicated to strengthening organizational and community wellness through transformative training, workshops, and strategic communications. She also serves as executive director and co-founder of Black People Die By Suicide Too, a nonprofit organization committed to advancing suicide prevention in Black communities. T-Kea’s research focuses on Black suicide prevention in order to influence public policy and expand funding pathways that advance mental health equity. Her work goes beyond awareness—driving systemic change while empowering individuals on their healing journeys.
