Sean Arlando Rhodes
Sean Rhodes is a Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland. He earned his B.A. in Communication from Metropolitan State University of Denver where he studied Rhetoric and Social Justice, and his M.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado Denver where he furthered his studies in Rhetoric and engaged in Media Studies. These interests shaped his desire to learn more about Digital Culture, the rhetoric spawned from Digital Culture, and how it functions in current day politics, especially at the intersections of race and gender. At the University of Maryland, Sean hopes to study the evolution of reactionary rhetoric in digital spaces, and how this impacts mainstream political culture today.
