Merceadez Marion

Merceadez Marion is the Academic Advisor for the Department of Communication at the University of Maryland. After teaching in South Korea and working for a marketing company, she recognized her desire to work in higher education. She has a passion for education and aspires to help students navigate university life with her experience in international and domestic school systems.

Merceadez earned a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a focus in Deaf Studies from the University of South Florida. She then earned an M.A. in Higher Education with a concentration in Communication from Grand Canyon University while teaching abroad. She loves learning about different cultures, playing video games, and traveling during her free time. She plans to further her education and experience at the University of Maryland.
