Josué is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication. Josué received his M.A. in Communication from the University of Arkansas and his B.Eng. in Industrial Design with a concentration in Visual Communication from the Costa Rican Institute of Technology. His research interests focuses on user experience (UX) within the fields of digital humanities, cultural studies, public memory, and Latin American studies. Josué has previous professional experience as a communication consultant at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and as a UX designer in projects related to digital accessibility, education, and mental health. Additionally, he has delivered workshops in Costa Rica and Mexico and has teaching experience in public speaking and film.
