Jiawen Doh

Jiawen Doh is a current Ph.D. student in communication science and social cognition. Her research interests lie in health communication and emerging media technologies. Specifically, she is interested in studying the individual’s information processing and decision-making related to emerging technologies such as ASMR, AI Chatbot, etc. in the health context. Before joining UMD, she received a master’s degree in higher education (Student Affairs) and a bachelor’s degree in media studies (Media Effects) from Penn State University – University Park.
