Chantay P. Moye

Chantay P. Moye is an instructor at the University of Maryland in the Department of Communication. She is also a PhD candidate at Howard University in the Communication, Culture and Media Studies Department. Her research interests include health promotion, health advocacy, and crisis communications. Her publications include the NAM Perspective, National Academy of Medicine; Health Services Cost Review Commission; American Journal of Transplantation; Bulletin of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Surgeons; National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health; American Academy of Ophthalmology; and Health Capital Topics.

Chantay is also a senior public relations, marketing, and crisis communications practitioner. Select career highlights include a gold-level marketing campaign honor, mid-level video production award, successfully running a television newsroom during 9-11, and leading a health care marketing & communications team during COVID-19.
